I had a balance shafted 2.3 ST and two 2.0 SES and the difference in smoothness is shocking.
It is no wonder they added balance shafts when the ecoboosted it.
Totally understand as my tolerance for "race car" has deceased as I've gotten older, lol.AnotherGreenFusion said:FoMoCoSHO said:Yup it's the duratec block.

I hear that a lot but my tolerance for noise and vibration seems a lot higher than most. People don't like the CP-E stage 2 and cry about the vibration it makes, I don't mind it. That said I have been frankensteining my cars pretty badly for a lot of years.
I decided a long time ago that the best way to find out is to try it for myself as everyone has their own perspective on these things. My biggest concern is damaging the engine but so far I do not think there is a risk there.

I know some 2.3 folks that didn't understand what they were doing and they didn't like the result, lol.

That savings alone can go towards install, balance and tpms and hopefully they will credit you for the rightful amount and definitely post up some picks of the new wheels and best of luck to ya. I ordered wheels yesterday for my car and just browsing the web for other stuff, stumbled across the same exact wheels on another site... what upset me was, they're selling them for the same price WITH free shipping AND were giving 5% off all wheels of that same brandthis morning I decided to check that same site for other stuff and found out after signing up for their newsletter and creating an account they're giving an extra 20% off! SMH
Now, I have to wait until Monday to confirm the first place cancels my order so I can get the wheels 25% off saving $192.
