What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

I ordered a new backup Portable Genuine Ford Motorcraft Air Compressor W/ Tire Sealant from ebay for 40.00 including shipping.
I noticed my original tire sealant on my 13 SHO had an expiration date of 7/17 and the new one is effective until 10/18.  :)
If anyone is interested in the tire sealant alone just follow the below link along with the part number.  Z
Definitely a must have for long trips.

I should probably invest in one of these since I do not have a spare

Battery took a crap today, 2 months out of the free replacement period.....
And apparently there is no prorated period for an AGM battery SMH.

So I'll be shopping for a battery this weekend...great

Battery was an autocrat platinum AGM-65

There are fullbodied warranties for the Exide Edge and Odyssey AGM batteries.  I would get one of those, or a Sears AGM.  Odyssey is the strongest 65 battery you can find, won't regret it.

Ordered my H&R's on Monday (finally bit the bullet since I couldn't find the Eibach's after about a year), along with new OEM PP struts, strut mounts, shocks, TPM sensors (sold mine with the flower wheels and the set I got for the new wheels "can't be calibrated for the SHO" ** never go with cheap aftermarket sensors, if they can't calibrate you spend twice the money!**), full set of EBC red's, and rear camber bolts.
Got my first set of packages today! Hopefully I can get everything done this weekend!

Side note - got a crazy deal on the struts, strut mounts, shocks, and TPMS through rock auto! $495 shipped!
*The TPMS alone at the stealership was $400 for the set!

In my opinion that sealant is junk the slim is good Ive never had an issue with slim not working until you get a proper Patch but just getting https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B019FZMIDM?psc=1 these are awesome orange ones grip and fill the hole the best and those handles make it very easy.
These are nearly as good as a tire patch they put on the inside of the tire.

the person that has to mount new tires to that rim will thank you. These are very easy to use as long as your car is not lowered there is plenty of room to get one in on the whole tire. That sealant does work very well to show you where the hole is though. I had that crap flung all over my wheel well and still leaking out 12 miles and 4 times airing the tire back up but just barely at that point.
That air compressor works very well though quickest 12 volt and best sealing around the valve stem. Think the lock will last the life of the pump.

I will probably buy a second pump just to make sure I have a working one on hand though.

I like the weight saving and little extra space of the tire Inflator all cars I've had has not space for full spare and a non super custom subwoofer box.

Patching a tire is super easy and takes less space. But is probably not as quick as installing a spare since you have to wait for tire to air up.

But I've had bad luck getting punctures in the side walls though last 4 tires before this last has been a sidewall puncture.

The weight difference on a 4400lbs car of having a spare vs not is going to make little difference on the street...

And if you are tracking it and trying to get a better  E/T then just take it out at the track.

IMHO...I prefer not dealing with patch kits and tire slime on the side of the road.

I like the full size spare idea as well, but the little reading I did said the stock 20" would not fit in the wheel well?

Hmmm I would need to check... I would think as sensitive as these drive trains are the spare would be the same height.. admittedly I have yet to use it so I assumed it was the same height at least... width maybe the issue...

No need for roadside assistance for a flat unless maybe your to crypled ( I do that mean for this to be to incentive) to do the work yourself and on a 6 hr road trip with a 3month old an HR out of town I don't know how quick someone would of gotten to me although the thought came to mind as I needed to keep filling my tire till I got someplace with a patch.

But I learned I will travel with Patches and two air pumps. Almost takes space of a spare but I can split it in half if I need to

Yeah Rolling Diameter is the key since we are awd.  I would take a skinnier tire with no issue, the goal for me is to get back on the road and to my destination without worrying about checking a patch or possibly leaky repair job every few miles.

Not inflated, but deflated the 20 should fit in the spare wheel well.  So you would still need a pump, but you'd be rolling golden after.

That is a do-able option.  You would have to include a jack/lug wrench, so I could see pulling the spare, pump and tools out and plug the pump in and have it cranking away to get a headstart while you remove the bad tire...

Not today, but a week ago, I ordered a set of PPE catted downpipes from EPP and a tune from AJP. Hopefully get the x4 in the next day or so to get a couple revisions in before the downpipes are made in about a month and a half. Pretty excited about it.
