What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Tried to put a set of Goodyear Hybrid windshield wipers on it, but the fitment is horrible.  Has the wiper arm a solid inch higher off the windshield.

Any recommendations for a wiper that comes with adapters that sits close to the windshield so that it's still under the hood for better airflow?

Front brakes and rotors and a nice fresh annual brake flush.  Stupid mityvac brake bleeder fell apart on me mid flush, so i had enough with it and threw it in the garbage.  I really hated that thing.  Went back to old school bottle and hose while pumping the brakes.  Much easier and cleaner.

Now hopefully my new bypass valve comes in the mail tomorrow so i can swap that out.

Sent Brad a log to see if perchance we can turn it up a notch... looks like I might be able to manage a bump in booooooooooooost.... even with the winter fuel and air... crap... I am going to need better tires ASAP...

Time to check my stocks to make sure I can sell enough off to pay for a motor/turbos... apparently bonuses this year got poop canned.

No Bonus!  What happened to the Christmas spirit!  Sorry man! .Z

LOL... company is tightening the belt... I am not surprised honestly. Its interesting times... might be time to make a switch..

Sent off info to brad to get an E30 tune all done up this morning. Only unfortunate part is I gotta go to two seperate stations to get my e30 all mixed up! Sad part about living in the middle of nowhere! At least I will have the opportunity to swap between e30 and 93 tunes as I please.

Filled up the tank with 5.5 gallons of e85 and the rest 93 to get me near an e30 mark and flashed over the newest AJP tune. If it wasn't so flippin cold out I would be driving the car a lot more that's for sure.

Drove mine around in the snow and slush the past couple of days.  First time for me as it's not something we get much of.  It definitely handled it like a champ.  My only complaint is it's not playful even with the T/C turned off.  I miss having a 4wd truck where you can switch to 2wd for playtime.

I didn't know that only PP cars could turn off traction control fully. I too wish there was a way to bypass it for some winter time fun!

It was the first time driving in the Snow since being lowered and felt like i was running over possums under the carriage .LoL.  Z

Yup!  Mine is violent at the track with too much wheel spin.  Goes into the bucking motion and doesn't really recover unless I just let off and wait.

Tried it in snow yesterday.  Was about the same.  The T/C and ESC in these cars needs some seriously better programming.  A lot of new cars will actually use the traction control to INCREASE traction and help with launch while spinning.  Ours just seems to clamp on the rotors and cut the the throttle.  A little disappointing for a car that is so tech advanced in other ways.

Ordered...

Goodrich SS lines
Gen 4.2 EBC USR rotors
Gen 4.2 EBC Redstuff pads

What about the 4.2 calipers and master?..Why the red and not the yellow?
I chose redstuff due to alleged cleanliness and longevity. Not doing the master now. Calipers I'm deciding whether to get powdercoated or not.

All right man, USR rotors and Red Stuff is exactly what I did on my MKS this past weekend.  I even painted the calipers.  I posted some pics in the Brake section.  Mine was brush-on duplicolor caliper paint.  If I had the time/money I would absolutely do powdercoating.  I like the look of mine, but if you get up close you can tell it isn't as professional looking.  I do like it a lot better than unfinished though.  And for only costing me $20 and a couple hours, I'm ok with the results.  I will be super jealous if you end up posting pics of powdercoated calipers though, lol.
