Noooooo you are not leaving our lovely Metro Area!!!  Not until after Carlisle at least!

LOL! Its a long shot anyway... The company that wants me I am unsure about and being as I have always been an east-coast guy, I am not sure my stodgy self would fit in over there in CO... lol

I am excited about Carlisle, not gonna enter the SHO, but I am planning on going with my old man.
No way! you’ll fit in just fine and learn to love this place man. yes your ET’s will suffer but the fun part is . . . you’ll be stomping all over  NA V-8’s like it’s nothing since they’re the ones who really suffer up here.
i’m rooting for you to take the job and come out here and share the crap thin air with me! lol
what part of CO?

Not sure yet which part.. probably around Denver would be my guess...

Sounds fun though!
right on you’ll be in my area if you make the jump. keep me posted!

Irondoor with you being in central Ohio you have speedway E-85 available and it has proven pretty consistent and potent...

I've ran it in blends on all 3 and full E-85 on this one.

$1.50-$2.00 gallon.

Yea Thanks for Bursting my bubble, but i want to blend at the Shop....

Ordered these from a vendor at World of Wheels. Got an outstanding price I couldn't refuse.

The Conti DWS's served me incredibly well, but since I no longer punish my SHO by subjecting it to the elements of old man winter, It's time to ditch the all season's and rock a set of dedicated performance tires.

I will report back my experiences at some point. Install is scheduled for 03/13/18.

I would be very interested in the results... I was debating between these and the BFgoodrich Comp 2's.. I went with the BFGoodrich which has the almost the exact same tread pattern, but are SLIGHTLY harder than the Nitto's..

Hope they work out well! Keep us informed.

Is it just me or does the piston look pitted/gouged on the outer edge where it meets the cylinder wall?
What endoscope are you using? i've been meaning to get one

probably short block but I was 500miles away when it got fixed didn't get a chance to talk to them.

Looks new to me like it was machined from a block of metal not forged.
Also pool of gas/oil?

Raced one of those new Durango drt with the 8 speed dual clutch transmissions. I think its 6.4 liters. From a stoplight it was dead even on the winter AJP tune non meth.

Well, Tuesday's install appointment was rescheduled to this morning, due to a completely unexpected 3" of snow that raced down out of Canada.

So, got the Nitto's installed and quickly raced back home to put her back in the garage, as were expected to receive a dangerous ice storm tonight.

For the short, 35min drive home, I was pleased with how they handled. Quiet. Responsive. Felt great.

Tech that did the install noted one of banded style TPMS sensors was loose (the entire band) so he tightened that back up for me.

Tech also was kind enough to paint the wheel weights gloss black in advance of the install. What fk'n outstanding service I must say.

Company that performed install is called S&D Wheel, based out of St. Charles, IL.

This was the vendor who exhibited right next to me at this past weekend's 2018 Chicago World of Wheels event. You can see their display of aftermarket wheels/tires directly behind my SHO.

Mr. Jeffrey Lorden was not only a pleasure to speak with, but also was very knowledgeable and volunteered to personally handle my install himself.

Outstanding attention to detail and couldn't have been happier. Extended me a great price to boot!

Their facility was/is HUGE! They are behind several brand name aftermarket wheels, LED light bars, and deal with most major tire brand mfg'ers. Please check out their site below for more info. Top notch all the way around!

https://sdwheel.com/

I'll manage more pics hopefully on Sunday, when temps rise to the mid 50's. Happy weekend everyone.

I wouldn't doubt it.

Their facility is outstanding. I was given a generous tour of everything.

They did mention their primary market is based in/on/around trucks, but they enjoy a healthy sales in the car market as well.

It was amazing to hear how much volume they move on any given day/week.

They run 2 shifts, and their employees were all a buzz with activity. The meticulous attention to detail was/is impressive to say the least.

I discovered yet another reason why I am so blessed to have such great vendors in/around the general Chicago land area.

claybar, a little buffing and f11 topcoat yesterday. can’t find a picture that does this thing justice right now. did the tuxedo black metallic a huge service.
