What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

@Z... I know it is frowned upon with aluminum heads but I always use anti-seize on my plugs. I put a little on my finger and run it around the base of the threads away from the electrode. Never have a stuck plug. And never had one backout on me. I also use a pea size dab of dielectric grease for the cop boot... never worry about a stuck boot either.

@bamSHO... chicks dig facial scars! Maybe you will get a little extra attention too...

I appreciate your quick input as always!  :) But its believe its seven times a charm on the SHO! Lol. I did let her idle roughly 15 min before shutting it OFF the day PRIOR to changing them without driving it!
The plugs Do look Wet which I'm guessing contributed to my issues! I will try to post some Pics soon, thanks.  Z

Your plugs shouldn’t bet wet. What made you want to change them?

Yeah yeah no stretcher.  Z, I  got the black etched exhaust tips.  Also I think I did a good job getting the straight.

Sorry for the late reply! just running around like a chicken with no head & need a vacation.... :sweatdrop:
I know these plugs have seen better days but with roughly 11K on them, figured it would be a good time to change them......
I guess with extensive idling plus frequent local short trips it should be warranted! Btw need to cut down on the antseize Lol.  Z

It may be frowned on but I also use anti-seize on the plugs and di-electric on the boots.  The heck with the frowns from others!

I use both and no issues ever getting the plugs out.  I also change them yearly too, no matter the mileage.  Truck was a b*tch cause they never put any never seize on the plugs.  Thankfully they were the updated one piece plugs when I changed them.  Have to do the Escspe's plugs soon too.

Cut open driver's side muffler.  As you can see there is nothing left inside.  As far as I can tell.  The perforated pipe angled from the inlet to outlet covered by packing.  Once the pipe rusted/rotted away.  Bye bye packing.  So basically I was running muffler delete.
Junk Dynomaxs.

I'm not sure if that's cool or not cool? Neat though

Ordered lots of ebay stuff and experimented a bit.. heres hoping it lasts. Replica turbos, and 5+5 billet wheel(stock size with extended tips and height) for GT1749, all VSR balanced.

Buddy of mine which is a welder found three leaks throughout the exhaust system and one was right after the Flex Pipe and a couple leaks around the Band-clamps right before the mufflers on the Corsa Exhaust! So far everything looks up to Specs!!! Z

PIC Below with much carbon buildup.....

Successful family trip in the SHO... apparently the Ford Escape I have cannot hold anywhere near what the Taurus can trunk wise... so the SHO did the miles....

All cleaned up after the vacation at Lake Anna!

Lookin sweet as always!
How'd you do for mpg?

Went to Wednesday Night Street Drags last night at Brainerd.  Met some nice guys from the Minnesota EcoBoost Facebook club (I'm not on Facebook, too old for that stuff).  One of them, Nick with an MKS, took second place in the reaction time contest.  There was also a guy with a 3.7 PI.

The weather was hot & humid; I ran 12.48 to 12.70 over 5 runs.  Everyone's times were higher than usual.

I wasn't real pleased with my times, but I had a good time nonetheless.
