Quick wash down now that it’s above 50° today.

Yes, good eye on the fender insert.
I could not find the color I was looking for in plasti dip.
The wheels were dipped anthracite grey previously and then I just sprayed regular old antique copper spray paint over that.
It has held up much better than anticipated.

That's cool!  It looks really good and I bet the spray paint cleans up much better than plasti dip.  I love plasti dip but no matter what anyone says they just don't clean up like real paint...now they will clean up well but not as easy as paint.  I've heard of doing that, spraying paint over plasti dip...same effect that the dip can be removed...but better finish right?  I think I'll have to give that a try next time I do some.  Mine are plasti dipped black with glossifier right now.

The interceptor inserts are stealth...like the fact that its nameless.  I like debadging vehicles.

New Battery installed today and truly impressed how fast the car cranks and turns over even when compared to the Motorcraft BXT-65-850 battery which still is going strong snug as a bug @ home. Z  :)
I also installed a set of Anti-Corrosion Terminal Protector's for good measures...

Picking up a much needed Daily Driver today. 2017 Ford Fiesta NEW for under $10K . Apparently the dealership switched owners and the previous owner had 2 fiestas on order that showed up late. In any event, they have been sitting and they need to get them off the lot before the 1st of year since they will drop in value even more as they will then be 2 years old NEW.  I will greatly enjoy getting 30+MPG and pulling the SHO from daily driving. Driving into Washington, DC is hell on cars and I am not interested in beating the crap out of the SHO which is expensive to drive daily.. maintenance (if done correctly for a tuned sho), gas, etc is expensive compared to a fiesta. Pictures will be posted when I pick up it up later.

Then tint ALL the windows so no one can see you!

I bolded your quote, and I fixed it.  100 percent accurate.

Nice modification there... much more accurate. I will be commuting on average 500 miles a week, so the price per mile of the SHO vs the Fiesta pretty much sells itself. PLUS I get paid mileage from work, so my employeer will be pretty much covering the entire cost of this car.

Is a battery relearn really necessary? Have we really gotten to the point where a simple water lead acid based battery replacement requires a trip to the IDS machine?!

I did speak to someone @ Ford regarding this procedure and in most cases a new battery install does not require a Ford IDS reset and simply removing the positive and ground terminals on battery overnight will do the trick...
There is a small percentage that might require a dealer visit from my understanding.  Z

Truly the little engine that could.

TBH... I was extremely impressed with how it drove. It doesn’t drive like the **** can I was expecting. The Chevy Spark on the hand... every bit as miserable as you would expect.

$14K out the door with a 100k ford premium care... not bad for a new car.

And with how cheap it is drive the mileage reimbursement from my employer will more than pay for the car.

I managed to upload a couple videos of the startup crank for comparison between the Motorcraft 65-850 battery and Odyssey 65-PC1750 in roughly 31 deg weather.  Z
