What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Renewed my registration today.  Expired in November and didnt feel the need to renew it and let all this time pass without driving it.  Not going to stretch her legs quite yet but I can confidently say this is going to be one good year!

Me too!  The competition this year is very hard.  I just want to enjoy it and have fun!  That's what it's really all about

What's coming along for the ride with your Flex?

Anything I might need to tow, got a 2005 F150 I need to do the dreaded spark plugs on and wanted to have a backup vehicle just in case something goes sideways, which it probably will haha. Looks like I was able to get the plate I wanted too which is awesome: "FLEXN8R"

Thanks to SBS for some install tips

Hi guys.  Just finished up Gearhead Intercooler install, and Turbosmart waste gate actuators.  Went pretty well.  Rear actuator was a pain in the butt, big time.  My arms and hands took it rough.  Also did complete fluid change maintenance.  FYI, the ECU doesn't like it when you run the car threw the gears while on jack stands.  Got very grumpy.  After back on the ground, I ran it up and down the road infront of our place, straighten everything out.    I did a couple of short runs and the new IC and meth injection are going to work nicely together.  Got AIT2 to drop 5 degrees below ambient.  Also boost fluctuated alot less now, and not spiking as bad during shifts.  No track time till after FORD Nationals.

Good to hear some info on the intercooler and meth combo...as I would expect its keeping IAT2 temps very cold.  Excellent!  Those actuators are a nice step up too.  I'm interested to hear how well you do at the track with your combo.  It's nice when we all don't have the same exact setups so we can find out how well each set up does.

My current best are at Beaver Springs is 12.32 and at Cecil County is a 12.17.  Yes curious on how it reacts at the track.  Also seems to have lot more air coming out the BOVs.  Wife said seems louder now.  I've had VTA since I've owned it and all mods.

Damn you're moving....id like to believe you can pick up a couple tenths....11 territory all day long!  That would be awesome!

I welcome louder VTA sounds, something to look forward to with my install coming up soon.  I'm definitely a car sound guy...I listen to music less in my SHO, I just want to hear the SHO

Over the weekend I replaced the solenoid body in my 2010 MKT transmission. While I was there, I also replaced the valve body and OSS & TSS sensors. Also added the 2013 SHO auxiliary transmission fluid cooler. The battery tray was broken in a couple places so it was also replaced. I 'cheated' a bit when installing the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler as I installed the updated front bumper which has the provisions for the cooler mounting. With the difference in the MKT and SHO radiators, I had to separate the transmission fluid cooler tube and hose assembly from the mounting bracket. Everything else fit great and there is plenty of room behind the front bumper cover.
