What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Added 3.5L badge. I also took my trailer hitch off for the winter. Since it takes 5 minutes, and dont plan on using it again until spring, I dont see a reason to lug it around all the time.

Nice job Kolk, I did the same thing to mine. Except my letter spacing is stock I will have to spread out to match the width of the new badge.

I had to add nearly 7 PSI to each tire this AM after my low tire sensor got tripped off. Last time I drove the car it' was in the 40-50 and it was 25 this AM.

Good Job!  Looks great!

Took her out to the spray wash joint, dressed the tires and wiped off the wheels.  AND, I just got done ordering my SHO fender "vents".

LOL  You KNOW I will have pics.  Should have the vents between Weds and Fri.  In the meantime, I'll be pulling the C pillar emblems and trunk emblem.  Then see what I can do about separating the Sho letters from the Ecoboost.

Many thanks to BIGMAC for sending me a spare trunk lid emblem so if I mess up the job, I'll have a spare.

Thanks Mike.  That's kinda what I was thinking.  I have a silver paint marker I can touch up the bottoms of the letters with.  Shouldn't be noticeable.  On the vents, I believe you just wedge a credit card or plastic scraper in the gap to push in the tabs.  I'll have the new ones so I'll know where the tabs are.

There's a guide hole, located at the rear of each vent.

Additionally, there are tabs located all along the top, and bottom edges.

Start at the rear, using a plastic putty knife, or any other (non-marring) type of wedge to pop out the old vent.

Here's a few pics of mine from wwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyy back in the day:

RE the 3M cleaning and tune up.  I am doing it every 18 mos or so.  No noticeable differences.  But, lots of crap comes out of the tail pipes.  With DI engines, it just seems like a good idea for 30 bucks.  Plus its kind of fun to do. There is a great video on YouTube using the system on an SHO.  It is 3 parts.  One part goes in gas tank.  Then there is a throttle body cleaner, then the main cleaner which gets inserted with a tube into the TB area.  The video is mucher clearer than I am.  Lol

Thanks TSS.... can't hurt.  I will say that 40 years ago we dumped "Marvel Mystery Oil" in and it made a hell of a smoke cloud when it burned.  LOL

bpd ... Thanks for the pic of the SHO vent... Was wondering about the fasteners.  I'll be watching DJ's progress pics (hope) as well as his finished product.  I'm considering a custom billet badge to replace the stock one that  could be dimly backlit through the area that's black now using subdued color (even a blinker type)
