What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Getting the SHO pro detailed today including engine bay and full interior... removing minor (thanks to the CQuart) scratches from careless people, UGH...  Waiting on my RX stuff....

I tested out the performance feature on the gauge this morning. Ignore the quarter mile and 1/8 mile times, as I simply hit 60 and then hit the brakes and then coasted  a quarter mile.

Your 0-60 time is excellent - and pretty consistent with your other measurement tools.  That makes me think that when the gauge says you are only spiking to 11 PSI of boost, it is being very pessimistic.  I think you are making more boost than that.

I can't wait to get my gauge!

TSS... Very Cool!

Manu... Not too quick... got a few underhood mods to complete... But obviously you know what an appearance nut I am and how much I like to take pics of the car!  LOL

YEah,  I also think it is interesting Bruce in light of my boost readings.what is nice is that the mycal readings, g tech readings, and Aero force readings are extremely close For 0 to 60.

Yes, you have confirmed the accuracy of the 0-60 by using 3 different tools.  I don't think we get accurate boost levels from the ECU.  However, it is still useful from a comparison perspective.  When I get my gauge, I am going to check out some numbers with my current tune, then return to stock and run the same numbers.  As soon as the winter is over, I plan to try a different tune so I can compare those numbers, too.  Data is our friend!

Got the SHO professionally detailed including the engine compartment and interior... A few more pics later, but this video is amazing! I thought I'd share it now.

My SHO is coated (this is not a paint sealer) with CQuart Finest (for exactly four months) and has never had anything else on the finish... no wax, no detail spray, literally just the CQuart Finest (if your interested in what it can do for a car, even a brand new one, my thread on correcting dealer paint damage is here:
http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?topic=1496.msg17656#msg17656

The car is on completely level ground.

Wills Amstutz, my detail guy at Windows and Wheels, showed me how to dry my car with water!... yea it works!  The coating is incredibly hydrophobic with a runoff angle <10 degrees.

Then a quick blow dry with a leaf blower (or a dedicated blower if you have one)... no touch, no scratch or spidering.

Pretty awesome drying technique!  CQF is one of the best sheeters out there.  An easy to use offering by CarPro is HydrO2, not as durable as CQF, but very very good.

went ahead and plastidipped my grille and little running light surrounds to match the wheels I did yesterday ... amazing how much it changed the look of the car for $25 and a few hours of my time :)
