Unless you're really thinking' of a cutout... no need for a new catback if you do a cutout... especially if it deletes the 3rd cat.

If you are thinking of an exhaust (catback)...PM Spartn27 and look at his kit... save about 1/3 - 1/2 over corsa (a good exhaust, BTW) and get even better flow and sound.

Is his kit only for Xsport? Or does he have one for the SHO as well?

It's official! MDesigns (Spartn27) now has a prototype exhaust.
- Full custom system from downpipes back.
It doesn't sound like anything we've heard yet. I'm trying to figure out how to get a video that translates well, exhaust note's too low to hear with a cell phone vid.
I'll do a full write-up later on when I can get all my pics uploaded and the boys are in bed.

For now...I'll keep the teaser's coming! ;D

ALRIGHT...HERE YOU GO!!!

Probably too early in the car's life to need a paint meter, but think about getting one at some point.  Also, I assume you will be using a finishing polish, Adams of course?  Their latest product versions are very well received.

Yes, from what I have read they are supposed to be really good with the new Adams polishes and the new pads I'll be sure to post a review once I get it done.

My badge came in today. It looks great and would look great on truck rear where the "ecoboost" badge used to be... But there is too much curve...
I'm gonna take a better look tomorrow to see what options I have to make it work.  It's only off by a little, might be able to still make it work..

Got bit by the mod bug this morning! Just placed my order for:

EBC Brakes S4KF1298 Stage 4 Signature Brake Kit
42cba2ae-fee6-4c84-9630-7689b20ee98d-420.jpg

and components for the MDesigns Race Spec catback exhaust redesign. Contemplating on whether or not I should pull the trigger on a tune and plugs now or wait it out... :boom:

thats the kit i plan to get it would seem the best one. question though why do PP and non PP have different ebc brake pads i thought the caliper and rotor were the same?

Not sure about that, though I do know that this kit includes the larger 13.3" rotors instead of the OEM 12.8" rotors and is made to fit 2011-12 MKS EcoBoost specifically. You might want to give EBC a call to find out exactly what you need or go through the catalog. From what I can recall I believe the only difference between PP and non-PP are the brake pad materials so that might be why there are different pads listed.
