Remote close isn't an option it appears

There's the option to turn it on, it just appears to not do anything on the Taurus platform. If that's what you meant, my bad.

Yea with remote close we need the safty module I'd like to look into how to get that and turn it on or if some are coming with it how you can tell if you have it

I thought of that too need to find a vehicle that has it. Although  it was not on fordpi.com so I'm guessing it doesn't work.

now just need to see what bit although an sync 2.2 seems like flipping most bits are the same as f150 but I feel this one should be different.
I would first try 1 then 0

You are probably right, its more likely to be the same as the Explorer as we share the same cluster. I have yet to see it on a Taurus.
