Went with PP. Wanted the option to turn off traction control, the better cooling and I love the Alcantara steering wheel.

Seems like the guys with non pp have an inferiority complex....I've heard some good ones here lol..I'm sure ford used the 3.16 FD to make the car slower top end and 1/4 mile...yeah right....some do well with the non pp...they usually know their car and drive it well...but excluding the driver, car for car.  Pp>non pp

Seems like the guy above me reads between the lines to much.... lol. Yes.. the PP is an upgrade. I'm just saying my car is faster than the above mentioned PP cars.

Just poking the bee hive.. ;D

It sure does sound like the complex comes from the other side of the fence. Proof is 2 posts that ^^^ way....but I can't really hear the words from multiple car lengths back...lol

I actually have a superiority complex lol...I believe I'm better and smarter than others no matter what people say.....I say we line em up lol

Lol....I still appreciate your insight around here though...but lining em up sounds like great fun, win or lose

Looks like our buddy Ahmad from MDesign is trying to put together a track rental at Milan for the end of the month. Pretty cool ideas floating around right now.

I'm glad u don't take me too seriously....all in good fun...but I do enjoy being controversial and stirring the pot

I've had both, I like the HD parts, the suspension, and the wheel.

The suspension is firmer but it is not overly harsh, in fact, it seems much more composed over bumps and road irreguarities than non PP.

I detuned the Big Girl, drove a while till the trims normalized then got into the new one

Didn't detect any difference in quickness but there is a lot more torque steer, especially on WOT downshifts...

I actually think power is limited in first stock due to the tendency to spin, gonna turn it all off today and see how she behaves. Don't see more than 8 or 9 lbs of boost in 1st gear. 12-14 if allowed to get into higher gears.

Stock for stock power wise Torque says the new car has about 10 more HP and that should get better as the motor breaks in.

Not sure how the steering wheels differ between trims, but I'm fairly disappointed in the quality of the wheel in my PP, with that alcantara ****. Not only is there accelerated wear on portions of the junk feeling leather, but also some "balding" spots on the alcantara sections. And I purposefully don't touch those areas, in an attempt at preservation!

Anybody else notice this on their wheels? Those of you with the alcantara on your seats, how is it holding up?

Torque steer is horrendous on my 13 PP. I know when I've mentioned this here before, it wasn't a general consensus between other members here. My previous car split power much better from f/r, and so there was essentially no torque steer at all. That makes high power AWD much nore fun and manageable. I'm sure it doesn't help that the front transaxle is open on this car. But, it's sure aggravating.

The other car was lowered so I think that helped keep things planted but even stock there is a huge difference in the amount of torque steer. So yeah, the old one with far more power did not behave the way the PP equipped one does.

I love the alcantara wheel, no issues so far.

Concours John is going to treat the wheel when I have it Cquartzed cause it will surely be a dirt magnet.

Any idea what his treatment might include?
The steering wheel is one of my least favorite qualities about the car, both aesthetically and functionally.

I love those sexy, NICE leather wrapped, flat bottomed wheels found in Audi. XD

I had the 13 non PP and two weeks later traded it in for my current 13 PP and both were purchased new with the same color, what amazes me the only issues that are mostly brought up are the diffrences in braking, suspension, axel ratio, steering wheel, traction control, and to me personally the one difference that no one has brought up is the PP having a slightly better engine sound, considering both were purchased two weeks apart and bone stock, even my wife noticed.Z
