what kind of under hood tank do you guys have for the 4th gen sho?

I just had a request for this very thing. I need the upper lid to the supercharger to make a kit.
where exactly does it go?
have a picture installed?
thanks

As for tank. Everyone is using our trunk mount three gallon tank or washer fluid tank to save money.

Couldn't one just use the windshield washer fluid reservoir?

Yes.

But that is not a solution for everyone

Gotcha.

I'm a total noob, so forgive me, but what are the pros and cons of using the windshield washer reservoir? Seems to make sense. When you are low, you get an indicator light. Yes, the boostjuice may be a bit more costly than the blue washer fluid, but for convenience sake, this seems like a winner to me?

Pump reliability for one, if your pump fails while you're tune is expecting it to be working that's no Bueno.

So what's the worst thing that could happen if a pump fails?

If done properly it's not.
Just do your homework on tuners reliability and pump reliability.
As long as the safeguards are not removed in the tune
its relatively safe.

Just the common sense aspects really, nothing major:
you have to drill/ tap into the reservoir
expensive windshield cleaning fluid
some places might top off your reservoir with non-meth fluid so you'd have that added concern

Having a separate tank afford you the flexibility of a completely separate system
It also affords you the responsibility of a completely separate system
You have to figure out where a tank and plumbing go
can return to stock easier

DO NOT BUY ANY PROMETH PRODUCTS!! I recently bought a methanol tank from them and it arrived defective. The holes drilled for the injection lines were bored out incorrectly. The company blamed their vendor that they didn't fill in the tank properly and claim they air leak test them. The tank leaked 4 gallons of fluid into my trunk. The company customer service is none existent. They played games and said my messages were going to spam and ultimately even refused to provide a replacement tank. I have cancelled the charge with my credit card provider. This company is a joke and their products are cheap at best and likely defective.
