Rear shade / package tray rattle

I've taken my sho to two separate dealers and was told the tsb was performed and that the rattle with certain freq of bass is normal and happends on other sony equipped taurii on the lot.. its really annoying and id like to put some matting under the upholstery that covers the speakers.  How does one remove the package tray cover?? I've searched all over.. it seems to be held in with clips and velcro but I want to know how to remove it safely.

Pin type retainers for the parcel shelf.  I think you just have to lay the rear seat back rest flat first.
