What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Well my car got broken into the other night and all my s*** stolen. The good news is I was heading to the track the following day after work. So all my racing stuff was in my car. Laptop, sct, tire pressure gauge, helmet etc. The bastards also got my iPod, Oakley’s and a jacket. Like wtf you stole my jacket. It wasn’t even a nice coat I got it for free from work and used it as a rain jacket. Now I ordered a new sct bdx and I’m havign a nightmare trying to get it to work. So this is just a rant to all the scumbag theives out there. I hate you all.

That really stinks! I am not sure if you have contacted insurance yet, but they generally cover a portion of that stuff. Also file a police report.. My wife had stuff stolen out of her car once and they police actually caught the guy who was doing it. She had to go to court but she got her stuff back. Same thing happened to my father, police found the guy, and he got his stuff back too...

I am going to have the MyCalibrator for my LMS tunes for sale if you are interested in switching over to them?

I have camera's at my house and I have given the footage to police. I have a decent idea of who it may be by the video. They are sure lucky I didn't hear them. Im a proud NH gun owner and gladly would have met them in my driveway. My car was locked they used a tow truck lockout kit to get into my car. Scratched the crap out of my A pillar too. My question is why didn't my alarm go off? Maybe I didn't set it but that's very unlike me. Especially with having all my racing stuff in it. Oh and forgot to mention they got my company tablet too. Yea my company was thrilled with that. Thanks for the offer on the mycalibrator SBS. Im currently in an email chain with SCT trying to get my device to work. They have been about as useless as an elephant in a mine field. Im still remaining hopeful they blindly run into the answer. Not to mention I need to return the car to stock tune for warranty work and cant even do that.

Could have been worse.  If you hada Honda!

Hope the cops catch the perps and give em a good floggibg.

Being a former fast Honda owner is why I have cameras in my driveway.  :quickdraw:

What?! The alarm didn't set when you locked the doors? Or did they pry it open for no good reason and it was actually unlocked.

I like to go to the house myself and get my stuff back. You see when someone has cameras at their house, its a really stupid idea to back into said driveway with your car. My panic button does work. But im having problems with the drivers door switch not working again. So im wondering if they got completely lucky that night picking the correct car at the right time.

You don't even understand my anger towards thieves. Thieves and kid didlers are the worst forms of life.

I found the Charge pipe to Front Turbo Hose clamp a bit loose for my taste!
I then double checked each hose clamp for a peace of mind and added security, especially after the summer months of heat which contributes to hose expansion. Z

Nice cruise to work this morning and finally had a chance to test the new tires, traffic has been bad so I have been taking surface streets all week.  Went in early too catch up on backlog and no traffic so I took the highway route for 1st time since new tires were put on last Fri. (275/40-20 GMAX AS-05)

WOW, must say I am pretty darn happy with these new shoes!!  There is one particular cloverleaf I take that has a great radius 270* sweeper.  It is so long and smooth you can actually experiment and play with throttle thru the corner with the car loaded up and feel things like tire sidewall rolling based on load, etc.

I was not sure how the sidewall were on these new tires, so I rolled into the cloverleaf @ 40mph.  Transition in was solid and scanning ahead I could see surface was dry so I started rolling into throttle. Accelerated up past 55mph and never felt the tires roll, wiggle or give any signs of nearing loss of adhesion.  In fact I actually tightned up my radius mid corner compared to normal line.  I could have rolled into it more, but I had already sucked up on the tail of the car that was 1/4mi in front of me when I entered the turn.  The old tires you could feel them roll the sidewalls around 45mph and car felt mushy in a way that told you that you were on the ragged edge of traction, they would also be talking to you at that point.
These tires did none of that, they are LOCKED IN!  Straight line traction is also much improved, even in rain I can plant my foot in it and car just jumps, so noise, no TC interference, just slams your head into seat and you are gone.
:evilB: :drive:
I can't wait to really push these tires on some fully dry pavement.

Yeah heck of a deal huh.
Yeah the price on them was just too soooopid to pass up.  I had my eyes set on Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's, but at 1/2 the cost I jumped on the AS-05's.

I had discount tire install them,  The guy checking me in said I should have contacted them, they match pricing.  Told him straight up, normally I do, but this time I knew there was no way they could touch the price and was not wanting to waste their time, he did a double take and agreed when I showed him the Amazon invoice.
