What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Welp I finally got around to submitting my 11.91 to drag times. Hope everything goes smooth with the proof I got. Got pictures of the car on the track and of the slips with matching numbers on it, but no video this time around. Everybody in my group was busy trying to not die of the 95 degree sunny day heat in the canopies. If it gets added cool if not I am not gonna cry about it

I bet you'll get it.  Basically you're just updating your time, you're already accepted and not everyone has video.

I submitted my info for my previous 12.0 and it took 4 or 5 business days to get approved.  Then I noticed I overlooked adding car type.  You can see in the email the link states Ford Taurus.  I didn't list it as SHO.  I updated my info to fix that and I havent been able to view it since.  Perhaps another 4 to 5 business days to approve?  Should see it again this week.  I don't know if I should wait and see or submit a new one for my new time....opposed to updating all my info again.

Juuuuuust when I had become content and have SHO where I want it, made the decision to not tweak it or push it any farther and start planning and researching my mustang project as the pushed to the limit fun project car...
Some filthy no good jackwagon has to go and post poll on a local FB group that he is looking at bringing in E85 to his gas station GRRRRRRRRRR.  I never considered E20/30tunes as there was just no source for the E85, now this.

I just gotta stay strong and keep telling myself, the car is already faster than I need for a DD, leave it alone it is your DD, take the stang to the ragged edge...  Yeah that's my story and I am sticking to it!

Talk to Brad again, he has some lights out E30 tunes. Once you go with E........you will be hooked.  I am almost out of pump E30 in my car and the ambient temps are dropping.  My car will only be getting Torco T-85 with 91 going forward.  Hopefully we can squeeze a little more performance out of her and she can click the off 400+ AWHP and run a 12.50-12.60 ish at the track here tune only (tune, plugs, and K&N drop in).

Yeah he really is a mad scientist and has some sweet E30 tunes.  Honestly I have pulled back the reigns on the SHO, it is my DD, and I have another car I will be putting the screws to.  While there will be E85 in the area in the future, it is one location and it is out of my way to get to it.  Plus I am not only driver and can't be worried about making sure the wife changes tune if she needs to fill the car up while running errands, etc.

I completely get it.  I don't daily mine because I put 12,000 miles on it in 4 months and was like NOPE NO MORE. I fixed my VW GTI 1.8T 5 speed car that has the boost turned up and it is tuned.  It keeps me entertained.  I drive 500 miles a week and it is getting 32 mpg so it is a no brainer. The SHO is kinda my play toy and baby now.  I mainly only drive the SHO, but my wife can drive it anytime, just as long is there is half a tank of fuel in it lol.

Getting ready for winter.  Rather,  getting the winter tires ready for the car, lol

The Motorcraft Mercon LV arrived this morning after 24 hrs since placing the order via Fed ex.  :)  PTU and Trans plus motor oil scheduled using my signature Redline fluids changed @ 30K Intervals for a peace of mind.
It looks like the Trans will take roughly TEN Quarts IIRC!

In the meantime need to P/uP some M1-Meth along the way.  Z

Oh no! I don't even wanna see that white stuff yet lol
Despite being AWD and it going completely against the ideology of driving it in the Winter, this is exactly why I'll be putting my SHO 'down' once again shortly.

2018 will be it's 3rd Winter of seeing no snow/ice/salty roads action. Which is fine by me. I want to be able to enjoy my SHO for the long haul and for many years to come.

I still enjoy watching those who are piloting them in the winter months though, and I suppose i can live vicariously through the rest of you.

Happy motoring!
