Looks like a fun project you have going. I really like the gloss black finish instead of the matte looking OEM stuff. That water repellent pre-filter is a really cool idea too. Looks really sharp with the color scheme you've got going there for sure. Bet you can't wait to get it all back together, thanks for sharing!

Loved my grom rode it all the time. One of the most fun toys I’ve ever owned. This is where it ended up. Best part was I actually hit the passenger side of his car. I some how flipped the bike over and landed on his hood. I was traveling down the road at 40. He decided to turn left coming the other way right in front of me.

I messed up my right knee pretty bad. Had to have surgery on that. Total acl and mcl tear. Also all the stuff I had done to my right arm was helped along by accident. I mean considering I was hit by a jag doing 40 I guess I was ok lol. Thank god I wear a helmet unlike the other NH retards.

Yeah, I cringe when I see the idiots here in AZ without a helmet. I always wear/wore mine because it saved my life.
I’ll add more to the story. I was hit like 1/2 mile from my work. It was also on my birthday. I landed in my biggest competitors parking lot. So basically I got hit by a customer going to my competitor. I wasn’t even going to take it to work that day. Last second I decided to have my wife register my car and I’ll ride the grom.
