What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Take your time and if the kona blue is your love keep looking and don't be afraid of having to buy a plane ticket and a day to drive it back.

Yeah I definitely need to get some upgraded turbos. These eBay compressor wheels are literally on stock level. Garbage quite frankly

Just throwing this out there. Found it for $353 shipped on amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Nitrous-82357-Safe-Shot-System/dp/B004LEXIKK/

Darn you!  Good find.  I called Zex bc I,had questions and since I had them on the phone.....its very reasonably priced imho

I am going to pick it up tomorrow. Put it on the credit card so I can get my 3% back, but just got this dang credit card and it only has a $500 limit on it so I paid off the $200 on it off just so I can get this to pay it off again. All in the name of $10 savings LOL.

That's funny you say that.  I impulsively put mine on my business CC as its not vehicle specific(For the work truck right)!?  And my GF does my books.  I wondered when she would catch this transaction...in less than 4 hours!  "What did you buy another nitrous kit for"?  "I don't have nitrous, I have methonal.  I volunteered to try this out and see if I can get some good results with it.  All in the name of science", I responded.  "If you volunteer then you shouldn't have to pay for it.  Haha jokes on you", she said.

😁 yeah jokes on me honey ........

Lol, I think my biggest difficulty is going to be finding a spot to get some nitrous from. Need to ask some of the old school boys. Might actually keep this mod on the down low for a while and surprise some of the bigger boys in town... Curious how far this bottle will last us.

I'm not telling anyone locally.  I thought that too...oh no where do I fill it up?  Thank God a shop 15 min away does but not for much longer.  They said the pumps don't last long and they are tired of replacing a pump for near 1,000 to fill maybe a few bottles a year.  So for now I can get it filled there.  10 dollars a pound.  Easton said if running the 15 shot jet can probably get about two dozen passes out of it.

If not more for such a small shot.

Agreed I will I’m in no rush what so ever. I drove almost 2 1/2 hours to get my white car. I have no problem driving to get what I want. I actually almost went 6 hours to New Jersey before that for a dark green sho.

I love where this nitrous talk has gone. It started as Andrew using it as intercooler sprayer. It then went to him and now Jordan saying screw it I’ll try a 15 shot. I see by the end of August someone upgrading to a wet kit lol.

Just be careful guys. This is exactly how people start with nitrous. Then all the sudden it’s rods hanging out and people yelling nitrous sucks.

F me I just showed my age lol

It'll be fine.  We both will only proceed if the data is good.  If it doesn't look good to push it I definitely won't.  But a 15?  Got to be fine.  Fine in fact that Brad didn't see the reason for a revision before spraying.  I'm hoping to get this started tomorrow, most definitely before the weekend is over I'll have tested a 15 shot and collected some data to share

MSD coils are in, cold start and my idle is so much better with them. (also the red looks kinda neat.)
Ordered a set of EBC Redstuff for front and rear and some RBF-600 but of course USPS f'd up and lost the fluid for two days so it'll come in on Monday, so guess I stare these EBC boxes until next weekend.

I just did this today as well!  Seems to have added **A LOT** of smoothness at idle and seems to have eliminated the 'stuttering feeling' when you accelerate in OD 'juts slightly'.  Seems snappier..

With the help of my brother, I installed the Eco Power Parts hot pipes and Eco Power Parts intake into my 2010 Lincoln MKT on Saturday. The clearance for the intake pipe to the rear turbocharger was tight; we had to massage the rear air conditioner tubes bit to be comfortable. We did not have bolt handy to fit the bolt hole in the end of the S&B air filter so we tapped the hole and used a bolt with some Teflon tape. I need to check the pressure side as I think I may have a small boost leak. I hear a higher-pitched 'whistle' sound leading up to the bypass valves opening. I ordered my pipes with the crinkle black coating and it looks very nice.

Didn't get much alone time with the SHO this weekend but my Zex Safe Shot kit is near complete.  Just need to run the no2 line from the trunk, using the frame as conduit, up into the engine bay.  Then maybe get fancy and bend some abs plastic to use to mount the arming switch and activation button.  But just to test it I don't need to go that far.  Can't wait.
