Feels wrong pouring in such clean oil when I know it's just getting mixed with crap. Took 4 quarts out and put 4 in then went for a drive. Surprised to feel the shifts are changed noticibly.SHOnUup said:Think it was 47k without looking...really wish there was a way to fully drain it so I could put a new brand of fluid in. Just don't want to mix them at all?

Me too, something you didn't think was very bad, having such a noticeable difference. Just felt like clean shifts after the change.wasinger3000 said:Feels wrong pouring in such clean oil when I know it's just getting mixed with crap. I'm going to make it a normal maintenance item now. 4qt's every oil change. It's easy to get to and I like having something to wrench on lol.SHOnUup said:Me too, something you didn't think was very bad, having such a noticeable difference. That sounds like a great idea. It is pretty easy to do, MDesign CAI would make it much easier too.wasinger3000 said:I'm going to make it a normal matainence item now. 4qt's every oil change. I found this type of filter wrench not to long ago and it is the best filter wrench I've ever used.92BlackGT said:I changed my oil for the first time on the SHO. what a pain! the sumabish previous owner must have used an impact gun putting the oil filter on. after fighting it for awhile and even spraying PB Blaster around the gasket, I decided to run to wally world and get a oil filter wrench. I had to use my 1/2" drive ratchet to get the filter off. It started twisting the body of the filter before the filter started to loosen. ughh
