Possible spark blowout?

Evil, I know this isn't any real help w/o data, but the Lund tune is now fixed from this stuttering as far as I know (it certainly is for me).  He said it was in the tune and not the plugs, at least with the 91 and 93 DD tunes.  Their 93 SS tune still hasn't been updated.  From the little I know, one of the factors was the colder temps increasing boost more than expected.

For me, it got worse and worse as the temps dropped, but with the new tune, and a temp of only 26F this morning, it pulls very smooth from any combination.  Now what happens when Summer returns, I don't know.

I can't help without some data logs to review, I need to see your fuel rail pressure, throttle position, AFR measured and boost.

Can you post LiveLink Log Configurations so we can all log these important PID's... I have been unable to get Boost and FRP to show accurately with LiveLink II logging software.  Or are you not using LiveLink II?

I'm running the 93 hi boost tune atm. It had to be partially in the plugs though or it wouldn't have got rid of most of it and moved the location of the issue from second gear to third.
It also only has the issue if i do a punch from say 55-60mph. If i start in second or first it doesn't stutter at all.
Did the lund tune act like that?

Track recorder is an add-on for Torque.  I tried using it but had trouble getting it to my laptop.  The videos you make have to be converted and for some reason, mine wouldn't.

Gotcha, i'll give it a try. Thanks!

The Lund tune symptoms started when the Summer temps began to drop with a stutter when going WOT from a 65 mph roll, but then became more severe and exhibited in other rpm ranges, as it got colder (meaning high 50's).  It was even happening in the DD tune, not just the SS (which I expect is similar to the LMS High-Boost).  Even those of us with plugs gapped as low as .025 were having the issue.  Whatever it was was in the tune, at least for us.  This was wide-spread with the Lund tune.

Probably something amiss with the air density tables rather than a fault with the spark plug gapping, IMHO.

Could be, logging my average da is -50  to -150 being in southern La.
Pretty sure Michigan is never going to see that as an average.

I'm not at home so I have not tried converting track recorder to post it yet but it seems the fuel rail pressure is dropping when the stutter issue arises.
It was building pressure then dropped about 400 psi, stuttered then pressure resumed building and the stutter was gone.
So....what say you?

If it's dropping to 400 PSI you have big problems. Are you mixing E85? If not go back to stock and take it to the dealer, something is wrong.

It dropped about 400 psi from what it was. Which made it about 800ish psi.
At the moment I have a mix of 93 with 104. The mixture I'm running should be about 100 octane.
Oh and my fuel is e10, I can't get e85 here.

I saw FRP drop also for what your talking about, although I don't see a drop that low most of the time.  LMS released a 93v7 version for me to try.  So far it seems to help this issue a lot.  I haven't run it long enough though to be sure.  I did get a little rough running and stutter before the engine was warm, but only for a minute or 2 on WOT.  My stock tune ran rough for a minute or 2 in cold weather too.  It was 24 degrees F when I compared v6 to v7.  BTW, the shift point seem to be 2k higher with v7, but it shifts nice.

I called them and explained what it was doing, Anthony ssud he would pass along the info to the tuner. Maybe it is just something in the tune.

Talked to Anthony after he spoke with the tuner. He said the tuner was not surprised and they had seen this issue on the shop explorer as well. He said it's out of fuel.....i asked him to speak with the tuner about changing the a/f ratio because a 10.2 is far too rich. Demanding less from the pump should make a difference but we shall see.

I do have track recorder stuff to upload but when i view the video on my computer it's showing just the recording not the torque app running with gauges....how do i get the complete video with the gauges and such on the computer?

They said they've seen this before?  I called and asked about the same issue and they told me that they hadn't heard of anyone having this issue and that they've tuned several daily drivers with the same tune with no problems.  Hmm...
