How do the steering wheel buttons work for presets and channel surfing in satellite radio?
I read some review that it was a two button operation to go through presets?
On my '13 SHO, within the band you have currently selected, the 6 presets toggle by pressing the search button on the right side of the steering wheel upward.

Can't find any fully loaded '13 Deep Impact Blue SHOs.  Must not be many of them made.  Do you guys like this color in person?  Looks good in videos/pictures.

The color really pops.  I think you're right, that like Kona blue not many produced… '13 SHO build numbers should be available in March.

I am not seeing the pp with much an advantage. I raced a 13 pp with more work than me that was turning 12.84 to my 12.91. He has some exhaust work and the livernois stage whatever the hell + 93 fancy blah blah and I have stock exhaust with torries 93 tune. This was also my first visit to the track... And I have about 30k miles over him as well...

Is the Adaptive CC/Collision Warning worth it?

I mainly want sunroof, multicontour seats, 20" flowers, and voice navi.  Undecided if PP is worth it.  Definitely don't want summer tires, so hopefully original owner replaced them.

My SHO is 402A plus everything else (wheels, etc) Ford would put on it.  I love ACC in traffic and use it every day (you can always accelerate while it's on) and I can say the same for collision avoidance which has saved my bacon a couple of times when I was distracted or some fool cut me off at 75mph!  You can disable both.  ...and yea, definitely get one that will give you back and butt massage on road trips.  I love the voice nav... Easy and let's me focus on driving and not directions.

I have always been a anti FORD guy until i drove my 10 SHO non PP. I traded my G8 GT with 32k miles for it. I miss the raw V8 but this thing s&*%s and gets. Megan coil overs and some nice wheels really set it off. BiGMaC is right. The ACC saved me multiple times. It just sucks when you have it on going down the street and the car brakes hard because of someone jumping in front of you. The only thing i hate about the car is the material of the seats and how its put together. Other than that, its awesome.

i love playing the car down to people who havnt seen one before. Just today i worked with a guy i was like i got a 4 year old taurus and they think it will be the 20008 gen and lame. then they hop in there like wow lol. thats not even showing them the best part.

A few more questions...  didn't find answers when searching.

1. Can the LED fog lights be programmed to act like a DRL?  I read on a Taurus forum someone had this done to a newer Limited model.

2. Does the new MFT system read and send text messages?  Does this work well?

3.  Does the remote start turn on the heated/vented seats for both seats or just driver?  Is there an outside temperature setting it's based on?  Does the heated steering wheel also turn on?

1.  I have no idea. Sorry
2. Yes it does, but not with an iPhone. It will only read messages with an iPhone not send them. But I use SIRI for that right on the iPhone.
3. Yes to all of this.  Both front seats will heat/cool with the remote start. Steering well will also be heated. And yes, it is outside temp based. You can change all this in the settings menu.

Awesome.... thanks!

Here is the thread I was talking about enabling the DRLs:

http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/52063-daytime-running-lamps/

Well, dealer surprised me and gave me a call about this. Took it in, they did an update on the Sync system AND, turned the DRL's on. Simply a 'check or uncheck' procedure.
No charge since it was hooked up for the update already. Otherwise he said they probably would have charged me $20 or $25 bucks.

I can't believe the LED strips aren't used as DRLs by default.  They should be on all the time, not just when the headlights are on.  Would be nice if the dealer could enable them easily.

RE: Question #2 - It depends - if your device is on the Ford Supported list YES, otherwise NO. If you have a newer Android - probably not. It worked fine for me with my old DroidX, but when I upgraded to a Galaxy Nexus no joy, same with my wife and her Expedition - Droid3 = Yes, Samsung Note 2 = No.

I have the a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I can receive and send text messages without any problems.

It does not with the iPhone and is disabled when you are moving otherwise...BUT ...

Here's how to do it:
You push the home button on the iPhone to call up Siri... The iPhone will ask (through the radio speakers while muting other output) what you want... tell it to "read new text messages" and it will...Then you can answer by speaking to it through the car's microphone and speak your reply... then say send... Done!  It's a nuisance to have to touch the phone, but better than trying to type while driving.
